Budgeting for Your Wedding Florals
At Flowers by Julia G, we understand that budgets and prices are where most couples like to start.
You have likely never been married before and maybe only purchased flowers a few times in your life so getting a feel for a flower budget for your wedding can feel a little daunting.
All prices vary depending on the types of flowers requested, as well as the types of installation pieces needed for the Ceremony and Reception.
At Flowers by Julia G, we love using the best seasonal flowers we select at the markets.
We find that this is the best way to provide value to our clients, as specific imported flowers can incur an additional fee.
So, the pricing below is based on the best, in season florals in your desired colour palette.
Wedding Florals Budget Guide
$500 – $1500 – Personal florals for the happy couple and their wedding party. (For example, a $1200 budget could include the bride’s bouquet, 3 bridesmaids, 4 boutonnieres for groom and groomsmen, 2 wrist corsages and 2 boutonnieres for parents, and one flower girl crown)
$1800 – $3000 – Personal florals and a Ceremony piece, such as simple arbour florals or church urns (does not include arbour/backdrop/urn hire)
$3500 – $4500 – Personal florals, Ceremony piece and bud vases for 10 guest tables at the Reception
$5000 – $7500 – Personal florals, Ceremony piece, medium centrepieces for 20 tables at the Reception
$8000 and up – Personal florals, abundant Ceremony piece, abundant Reception feature, centrepieces for 20 tables
What Other Costs Need to Be Considered?
Please note that delivery, labour, equipment hire (arbour, vases, urns, welcome sign, etc), set up and pack down are separate costs and are calculated based on the floral items you’ll be having for your big day and the ceremony and reception spaces we will set up in. The above price estimations are for floral items only.
++If you are choosing to have personal flowers only, they can also be collected at the Flowers By Julia G studio in Petersham.
